From still image to moving scene: a first-frame guide

Prepare a starting image, describe a focused motion, and review your first image-to-video result.

Image to video gives a clip a visual starting point. You supply a still image and describe how the scene should move. The result is a new generated video, so review it carefully rather than expecting every source detail to remain identical.

Pick a clear starting image

Use an image with a distinct subject and a composition that suits your intended scene. In the homepage generator, upload one PNG, JPEG, or WebP file up to 4 MB. Use imagery you are allowed to upload and publish.

Focus the prompt on movement

Describe what changes: the camera circles a product, leaves move in a breeze, or a person slowly turns toward the light. Start with a restrained motion before trying a more complex action.

A gentle camera push toward the subject. Fabric moves slightly in a light breeze while the background stays calm. Soft light passes across the scene.

Match the available controls

Choose Image to video, upload your first frame, and write the motion prompt beside the preview. The plus button replaces the image, and the close button removes it. Choose a model and use the duration, resolution, and aspect-ratio options it supports. Check the credit cost before clicking Generate video.

Inspect the result

Look for changes to faces, text, product shapes, hands, and background details. If the movement feels too busy, simplify the prompt and generate another version. Compare each result against the starting image before including it in a product page or campaign.

Save the version you want to use

Preview and download the finished clip. Keep your own copy for later editing. The public gallery is a separate collection curated by administrators; generating a video does not automatically add it to that gallery.
