About this policy
This policy explains how SnapGen AI processes information when you visit the website, create an account, generate videos, purchase credits, or contact support. For privacy requests, contact support@snapgenai.io.
Information we process
- Account information: your name, email address, account identifiers, and authentication information. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we receive information made available by that provider.
- Generation content: prompts, uploaded starting images, selected model and settings, generated outputs or output links, task status, and credit usage. Task records may include uploaded image data within their settings.
- Billing records: purchases, subscription status, payment-provider references, and credit transactions. Payment providers process payment credentials; do not send card details to support.
- Service and support data: information you send us, and technical records used to operate and secure the service, such as request times, errors, IP addresses, and browser information where collected.
Why we use it
We process this information to authenticate users, generate and deliver videos, track task status, manage credits and subscriptions, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and meet applicable obligations. Where a legal basis is required, it may be providing the service you request, complying with a legal obligation, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, or your consent where required.
Providers and disclosures
Prompts, input images, and generation settings are sent to Fal and the model services involved in fulfilling your request. Their handling of information is described in the applicable provider policies, including Fal's privacy policy. Hosting, object storage, authentication, payment, and email providers may also process information needed for their functions. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents, and rights complaints. We do not sell your personal information.
Providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate transfer protections apply. Do not upload sensitive personal information or confidential material unless you are entitled to share it with the services involved.
Cookies and browser storage
The service uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, language and theme preferences, and resuming a pending generation. Optional analytics may be used when enabled, subject to applicable consent requirements. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser; blocking essential storage may affect sign-in and other features.
Public gallery
Generating a video does not automatically publish it. Administrators can select completed videos for the public gallery. A selected entry shows the video and its public title; the gallery does not publish your account email or private prompt. The video itself may contain personal information, so consider what you include in uploaded or generated content.
Featured videos are copied to separate storage with no automatic expiration. Unfeaturing a video removes it from the gallery but retains the archive. Because these records are stored separately, deleting an original task or account does not automatically delete its archived gallery copy. To request removal of public content or the archive, email support with the relevant video or page link. We assess requests under applicable rights and retention obligations; public copies already downloaded by others may remain outside our control.
Retention and security
We retain account, task, billing, and support records as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and satisfy legal obligations. Retention varies by record type and provider; this policy does not promise a single fixed deletion deadline. Provider video links may expire, so download outputs you want to keep. Gallery archives have no scheduled expiration unless removed following an applicable request or operational decision.
We use access restrictions and available security controls to protect information, but no online service or storage system is completely secure. Public gallery files are publicly accessible by design.
Your choices and requests
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a competent data protection authority. Contact support@snapgenai.io; we may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Age and policy updates
The video generation service is intended for adults aged 18 or above and of legal majority where they live. Contact us if you believe an ineligible minor has provided personal information. We may update this policy and will display the revised date; material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
