Wan 3.0 vs Seedance 2.0
A longer take or a reference-led short scene?
Wan 3.0 covers 2–30 seconds. Seedance 2.0 covers 4–15 seconds and adds multi-image references in the site workflow. If your project is a series of short shots, the extra reference inputs may matter more than maximum duration. If the action needs one continuous take beyond 15 seconds, Wan is the direct option here.

Which model should you choose?
Choose Wan for a longer single take with a text brief or starting frame. Consider Seedance 2.0 for a short scene guided by several images. Its selector also includes 4K, while Wan tops out at 1080p here. Check the delivery requirement first; a higher output setting costs more credits and does not itself guarantee better motion.

These are the controls exposed by this studio, not every capability advertised by the model developer. Availability depends on enabled providers. This is a configuration-based guide, not a scored head-to-head benchmark.

Compare credits before generating
Quotes use the same calculation as the generator, with generated audio enabled. Pack counts assume all credits are spent on this exact setting and round down; retries consume additional credits. They are not promised usable-video counts.
| One-time pack | Wan 3.0 | Seedance 2.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Credits per video | 420 | 1,275 |
| Starter · $4.9500 credits | 1 video | 0 videos |
| Pro · $19.92,495 credits | 5 videos | 1 video |
| Enterprise · $69.99,145 credits | 21 videos | 7 videos |
The model quote is in credits, not a separate dollar charge per request. Compare the allowance of the pack you intend to buy.

A single well-composed frame is a strong starting point for a controlled animation test. A collection of character and setting images is a different problem: Seedance accepts a reference set, while Wan uses one image in this integration. Neither route is a face-preservation guarantee, and a reference image is not an exact animation timeline.
Use short shots as building blocks
For a three-shot sequence, define one establishing shot, one action and one reaction. Keep the character description and lighting stable across prompts. Generate and review each clip separately. The Buzzy planner can help organize these prompts, but selecting a model does not automatically join clips or guarantee continuity between them.
Do not mix Seedance variants in a comparison
This page compares Seedance 2.0, not its Fast or Mini variants. Those choices have their own settings and quotes. A cheaper Fast result is not evidence that the standard model has the same cost. Keep the model name, duration, resolution and audio condition recorded beside every test.
A repeatable test brief
This is a proposed test, not a claim that these two models have been benchmarked. Keep the prompt, source image and shared settings constant. Generation uses paid credits.
Suggested test prompt
A gardener in a green apron carefully places a small terracotta pot on a stone ledge. One slow sideways camera move, late-afternoon light, leaves moving gently, natural garden ambience.
How to review it
Use an 8-second 720p clip with one starting image for the controlled comparison. Inspect the pot rim, fingers and apron pattern. For a separate multi-shot project, keep the same subject description and review continuity between independently generated clips.
Plan a three-shot sequenceQuestions before you choose
Which model supports a 20-second take?
Wan 3.0 supports 20 seconds here. Seedance 2.0 stops at 15 seconds per generation.
Can I use Seedance 2.0 for a three-shot story?
Yes, as separate generations. Plan each shot, keep references consistent, review each result and assemble clips in an editor if you need one final video.
Does the Seedance 2.0 comparison include Fast and Mini?
No. This page uses standard Seedance 2.0. Fast and Mini have separate prices and parameter limits, so their results should be recorded separately.
Can I try these models without buying credits?
You can review the controls and cost estimates before paying. Actual video generation requires a signed-in account with enough credits; this comparison does not include free generations.
Will the same prompt produce the same video?
No. Outputs can differ between models and between repeated requests. Keep a record of inputs and review motion, identity, sound and actual output size. Allow a budget for more than one attempt.
