Wan 3.0 vs Seedance 2.5

Two routes to a longer scene—with different reference budgets

Both models reach 30 seconds in the current generator, so duration alone does not settle this comparison. Wan 3.0 accepts one starting image here. Seedance 2.5 exposes a multi-image reference workflow with up to nine images. That makes the number and purpose of your visual references a more useful starting point than a generic “best model” label.

Which model should you choose?

Begin with Wan 3.0 when a prompt or one frame sufficiently defines the shot and the displayed credit quote fits your budget. Consider Seedance 2.5 when several reference images are important to the brief. Reference capacity is an input limit, not proof that every person, object or location will remain consistent throughout the result.

Compare credits before generating

Quotes use the same calculation as the generator, with generated audio enabled. Pack counts assume all credits are spent on this exact setting and round down; retries consume additional credits. They are not promised usable-video counts.

The model quote is in credits, not a separate dollar charge per request. Compare the allowance of the pack you intend to buy.

Build a useful reference set

Assign a clear purpose to each image: subject appearance, clothing, product or setting. Avoid uploading near-duplicates and contradictory lighting simply because nine slots exist. Describe which subject should do what. This studio does not expose a 30-image input, reference video upload or reference audio upload for this comparison.

Plan a 30-second clip before paying

A longer request costs more credits and can give motion or identity errors more time to appear. Test a representative short moment first. Expand the duration only after the subject and action are clear. If the brief contains unrelated locations, separate generations may be easier to evaluate than one overloaded scene.

Separate reference value from credit cost

The calculator compares the same duration and selected resolution using the site quote function. It does not estimate a provider invoice or claim a quality score. Seedance access can use the configured provider route, while the user-facing quote is governed by the site. Confirm the quote at submission, especially after changing models.

A repeatable test brief

This is a proposed test, not a claim that these two models have been benchmarked. Keep the prompt, source image and shared settings constant. Generation uses paid credits.

Suggested test prompt

A person wearing a navy jacket stands beside a yellow bicycle outside a café. They lift a paper cup, smile and place it on the table. Static medium shot, soft morning light, quiet street ambience.

How to review it

Run an 8-second one-image test on both models. If your real brief needs multiple images, make a separate Seedance reference test and label it as a different input condition. Do not call that second run a same-input comparison.

Questions before you choose

Do both support 30 seconds?

Yes, the current controls include 30 seconds for both. Wan starts at 2 seconds and Seedance 2.5 at 4 seconds.

Can Seedance use nine images here?

The site supports up to nine reference images for Seedance. They share the upload limits shown by the generator. More images do not guarantee stronger consistency.

Is Seedance 2.5 limited to 720p?

The current site configuration lists 480p, 720p and 1080p. Other products or provider routes may expose different limits; use the options in the generator for your request.

Can I try these models without buying credits?

You can review the controls and cost estimates before paying. Actual video generation requires a signed-in account with enough credits; this comparison does not include free generations.

Will the same prompt produce the same video?

No. Outputs can differ between models and between repeated requests. Keep a record of inputs and review motion, identity, sound and actual output size. Allow a budget for more than one attempt.
